It all began close to 30 years ago on a small ranch in North Central Washington. Three brothers took off over the very hills that they were born in with an imagination as big as their dreams. They started with stick made guns and bows as they began their hunt. They were hunting for adventure, wildlife, and life learned lessons. They were hunting for stories to tell to their grandchildren.

Over the years that imagination has turned to ambition and the tools they use to hunt with has evolved as well. This is your personal invitation to join Oren, Todd, and the other guides at Tanglewood Guides to hunt your dreams in the scenic North Central Washington.

Mule Deer/ White Tail Hunts - MODERN - Hunts are 4 days and include meals, bunkhouse style lodging, and transportation to and from the field. Many methods of hunting are used depending on the clients capabilities. The day is usually started off on vantage points where we can glass a lot of country. All ground is pre-scouted so your guide knows what deer have been frequenting the area. Spend time in the outdoors, one-on-one with a Tanglewood Guide familiar with some of North Central Washington's best country for both Mule Deer and Whitetail.

ARCHERY - Hunts are 5 days and include meals, bunkhouse style lodging, and transportation to and from the field. Archery hunts are a good way to get up close and personal with the deer. The day usually starts and ends in a blind with mid-day Spot and Stalk tactics on bedded deer. We are passionate about archery hunting and it will be an experience you will not forget.

Black Bear Hunts - All Bear hunts are 4 days and include meals, bunkhouse style lodging, and transportation to and from the field. Black Bear hunting is done from high vantage points over areas scouted and known to produce bear. We hunt over the bears summer and fall feeding grounds. The climate is usually warm and a lot of hiking is involved, so you will want to be in good shape for this hunt. Hunt one-on-one with a Tanglewood Guide for a Black Bear.

Wild Turkey Hunts - Turkey hunts are a 3 day hunt and include meals, wall tent lodging, and transportation to and from the field. Turkeys are scouted late winter-spring. We hunt Merriams in our area and they are plentiful. Turkey hunting starts in blinds set on roosted birds. All guides are accomplished callers and will get you an opportunity at a Tom. Mid-day takes us to a Run and Gun approach as we walk turkey travel patterns trying to strike a gobbler. The day is usually finished back at the roost.

Predator Hunts - Predator hunts are a one day hunt but give you UNLIMITED BAG!!! We use mouth calls as well as electronic calls. We hunt throughout the winter-spring months. If you seek action, this is the hunt for you.

Other Considerations -

PLEASE NOTICE hunt days are for actual hunting days. 1 day each for arriving and departing may also be required. Travel arrangements including motels for the night before arriving at the ranch and the night before departure and of packing up may be needed. These expenses are not included in the price of the hunt.

EXPENSES NOT INCLUDED IN OUR HUNT FEES: Washington State Game & Fish license fees, meat processing fees, taxidermy fees, the above mentioned motel or lodge fees for before and after your hunt, and at your discretion, gratuities for our hard working, professional staff and guides.

ALL BIG GAME HUNTS are One-on-One, Client to Guide ratio unless requested otherwise.

ALL BIG GAME AND TURKEY HUNTS include lodging, transportation to and from the field, home cooked meals, and memories you won't forget. We at Tanglewood Guides invite you, friends, and family for an enjoyable experience in the outdoors.

DEPOSIT of 50% is required to secure your hunt reservation. The total balance is due upon arrival.
